Our Thoughts and Prayers for our Loved Ones

Wishing our loved ones the blessings of health and happiness throughout the year and new beginnings.

Our prayers went out to Kim as she battled breast cancer and like everything else she does, she gave it her all and beat it!

Uncle Bill battled lung cancer this summer also and won! Keep up the walking and your positive thinking.

We sent our prayers for quick recoveries as Eleanor, Bill, Alisa and Mary.

Our love goes to Laura's uncle and the family as he gets stronger.

Finally, our continuous love and prayers go to all generations of the Stetson's, Murphy's, Montrolla's and the DePalma's.

We hope you enjoy the beauty of nature's gifts this holiday season as much as we do. The picture reminded me of our cardinal couple, minus the snow of course.

Aunt Chris's special bird feeder is a popular spot. We have a steady stream of visitors outside the kitchen window and all are well fed now that the squirrels can't get to the food. Mom gets a real kick out of watching a few tenacious squirrels try. They end up taking the ride of their life as the bird feeder flings them off a few feet away.

The turtles continue to migrate from one pond to the other, miraculously crossing the road safely. The boys helped relocate our growing population of tadpols after the month of record rain falls. We had several visiting duck families, cranes and herons stop by on their way to their final destinations. Our hawk, woodpecker and owl still keep us company year around.

Our grapefruit tree is giving us a bumper crop this year. Thanks to Eleanor's pinching advice, our tomatoes are doing well. Ben helped mom get our butterfly garden planted and we have loads of butterflies. Jesse and Joel give the yard tender loving care making the flowers bloom like never before. Mom and the boys, also put together our gazebo swing. It is the perfect relaxation spot to look over the pond and enjoy the breeze. Mom has such fun playing in the yard, you can find her there just about every day.
